Hello! I'm Lyndsey-Jayne, A.K.A. Lucid Curiosity. Thanks for stopping by! It's a pleasure to meet you :).
I hope you've enjoyed navigating through my world, and you've found something to take away that feeds your soul 🌟
The purpose of my art is to offer the viewer a place of escape, to a safe space disconnected from the everyday. A place of comfort to support times of healing and transition, the bridge from one moment to the next. A tranquil land you can lose yourself in as all your worries are washed away, allowing you to gather your strength for what comes next.
We all love animals. They provide so much comfort and they’re symbolic of a variety of qualities. I paint them to symbolise ourselves navigating through our life’s journey, (often with a whimsical twist!), whilst taking inspiration from my vivid galactic dreams, (where I time travel to different worlds in 90% of them 😂), along with all things 80s and endless curiosity to create unique and unimagined before space scapes.
Enjoy sitting back and re-connecting with yourself in the present. Take time for yourself to heal. I hope my art brings you as much peace and some joy, as it did me when creating it <3

The price of artwork is calculated fairly based on the artwork size, subject matter, time spent and materials used. Each artwork price varies based on this criteria.
Payment plans are not currently an option, however these will be added in the near future.
We currently ship to the UK, Europe, US and Canada. Further countries will be added in the coming months.
If you’re interested to make a purchase and your country is not listed, you can contact us via the contact form so we can support the process.
Please check shipping costs at checkout, your country's shipping policies and any associated importing costs. We are not responsible for any country specific tax or import charges.
No, we do not refund artwork. The only exception would be if there is damage to the painting during shipping. All artwork is packaged with care, so unless it’s been wrestled with, this would be a rarity, if it happened at all.
Yes, Lucid Curiosity takes on several commissions every 6 months. Slots will be advertised via instagram stories in January and July.
Keep your eyes peeled if you're interested in a custom painting, or get in touch to be added to the waiting list if you're an eager beaver 🙂

We don't currently have any workshops planned, though Lucid Curiosity has run them in the past.
